Race Results

OK, not the best day...but still a PR.
Chip time of 4:01:29. Was right on target for the first half, but wilted in the second half.

I'm not sure why I felt so weak as the race went on. My best guess is that I am suffering from a cold (I thought it might be behind me), and that my endurance is what suffered today.

I'll post more thoughts over the coming days, but am now starting to think about the next marathon - Steamtown in PA on 11 October.

I know that nobody has read this blog yet, but I'm going to keep it going...

Marathon is today!

This is my first posting in my new blog....this blog will focus on my running.

I am a 45yo man, running his fourth marathon (B&A Trail) today - in Severna Park, MD. Goal time is 3:50, with a stretch goal of 3:45.

Race results will be posted later today (or tomorrow), and I'll start posting my training going forward.

Thanks to everybody at the Extra Mile Podcast and Steve Runner for inspiring me to do this. Perhaps a podcast is in the future?
